To celebrate Chinese New Year and the Year of the Monkey, we’re giving away a Lunar Year of the Monkey gold coin! This year, Chinese New Year falls on 8 February and from 4 – 19 February you’ve got a chance to win this amazing prize. To enter, all you have to do is correctly answer the question ‘Which breed of monkey is Wuon-Gean’s Year of the Monkey coin design based on?‘ and complete the entry form below. Tricky question? To enter the competition you need to correctly answer the question ‘Which breed of monkey is Wuon-Gean’s Year of the Monkey coin design based on?‘ and complete the form, providing your name, email address and date of birth. Only correct entries within the opening and closing dates/times will be entered into the random prize draw to win a Lunar Year of the Monkey 2016 UK Tenth-Ounce Gold Brilliant Uncirculated Coin.

The competition is open to residents of the UK only. You must be 13 years or older to enter the competition. Only one entry per person (entries will be de-duplicated by email address). The competition opens on Friday 5th February 2016 at 9am and closes on Friday 19th February 2016 at 23.59pm. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates/times will not be included in the draw. Winners will be selected at random from all correct entries received within the specified times. There is no purchase necessary to enter the competition. There is 1 prize to be won in total. The prize is 1x Lunar Year of the Monkey 2016 UK Tenth-Ounce Gold Brilliant Uncirculated Coin – details of the prize can be found here. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Royal Mint reserve the right to change the prize, subject to stock availability. The draw will take place on or around 1st March 2016 and the winner will be notified via email within 48 hours of the draw taking place. We may post the name of the winner on our social media channels after the draw has taken place. Once the winner has been notified, they will have 96 hours to respond to claim their prize. If the winner fails to claim the prize, it will be forfeit and a new winner drawn. The winner may be asked to write a review of the product. All entries will be checked and verified by The Royal Mint. Any ineligible entries will be disqualified and no correspondence will be entered into.
