I really do enjoy collecting silver Britannia coins.I’ve collected them throughout the years and enjoy the surprise designs. The 1999 and 2009 chariot is probably my favorite image, but you can’t go wrong with the classic Standing Britannia design. I started a blog honoring the silver Britannia coin at http://www.silverbritanniacoin.com to show my love for them. I’m surprised that these silver bullion coins don’t have higher mintages. That’s a secret I like to keep though. I do believe that these will escalate on the secondary market in years to come. Thank you Royal Mint for producing such a splendid coin.

I was happy to see the changes that the Mint made for the 2013 silver Britannia. I’m happy that it now has .999 silver in it. This was a good chance to make a believe and I will be collecting more of them in the future. In fact, I have already purchased 15 of them this year. Yes. I really do love the silver Britannia coin.
